The Jesus is Lord Church in Greater Washington, DC marks its 10th anniversary in Arlington, VirginiaAug. 12, 2007 with Pastor Lizette Arches from JIL VA Beach delivering a special message based on Philippians 1:6.
As in past anniversaries, JIL leaders and attendees are gearing up for the event in prayers, preparing special presentations, and fellowship activities to bring everyone together.
"Who would have thought that a small group of Filipina prayer partners who have never met before could ignite the flame of what is now JIL GWDC. Pastors Jessie and Dothy Maghacot, who heeded the call to full-time ministry from San Diego, CA to Arlington, VA and whose lives have been transformed in the Gospel as early as the beginnings of the Jesus is Lord ministry in the Philippines, currently oversee over 150 regular attendees at their church location at 1845 N. Columbus Street, Arlington, VA. “The ministry has been an inheritance from the Lord,” says Pastor Jessie. “We are like little children and that the church isike a learning pot.I am so encouraged with the members’ faithfulness and unfailing dedication.The Lord has been so faithful for the last 10 years and He will continue to be for the next 10. Amen!”
