Francis Tanglao-Aguas, a Filipino American, was introduced to the Queen of England during her visit to the University of William and Mary/Jamestown by the University President. The University has awarded Aguas the teacher of the year honor at the College — one of the top public universities in the U.S. “He has continued to make a positive impact by promoting diversity and bringing positive attention to Filipinos in the State of Virginia,” Peter and Ria Villareal who forwarded this photo to the Manila Mail, said. “We are very proud of him.”
