Letters: Wrong caption

Dear Editor,

First, let me express my admiration for your and Manila Mail’s enduring service to the Filipino-American community. Through this unparalleled publication, we are able to connect as a people, and share our collective thoughts, aspirations and predilections, among others.

Incidentally, thank you for featuring on page 22, “Around DC” of the Manila  Mail, my photo with my colleagues at the American Immigration lawyers association  (AILA). I must point out that the lawyers in the photo are not the same lawyers who acted as my co-panelists when I spoke at the AILA Immigration Seminar at L’Enfant Plaza on the -1 to K-3 visa.

Kindly publish this letter to clarify that none of those persons mentioned in the caption were in the published photo. My co-panelists and I were in the previous photo I forwarded to you via email. Readers may log on to my website at www.riedmmillerlaw.com http://www.riedmmillerlaw.com/ and click on ‘newsroom’ to find the story and the actual photo of the event.

I will appreciate your attention. Mabuhay to you and all that comprise the Manila Mail, including your readers.

Sincerely,

Miriam Bustamante Riedmiller, Esquire

Washington D.C.

Thanks for the accolade. However, in your correction, you should have identified the persons who were with you in the picture. - ED
