WASHINGTON D.C. – Statistics provided by the census bureau says one fourth of all foreign-born members of the US armed forces are from the Philippines. It said total Filipino immigrants in US in 2005 is 1.4 million with 85,000 illegals.

Topping the list of immigrants are Mexicans with 9.2 million and 5.9 million illegals; China came in second with 1.5 million and 500,000 illegals; El Salvador came after the Philippines with 817,000 immigrants and 300,000 illegals; Dominican Republic 688,000 immigrants and 91,000 illegals; Colombia 510,000 immigrants and 141,000 illegals; Guatemala with 481,000 immigrants and 144,000 illegls.
