Hello everyone:
My name is Eleonor C. Lindner, a native of Maasin City, Southern Leyte, Philippines a neighboring town of St. Bernard. I just want to say “thank you” for your kindness and thoughtfulness to organize the Leyte Mudslide Benefit Concert. Just last week, I spoke to my relatives in Maasin, and was informed regarding the continuing “NEED” of the mudslide victims.
Also, I want to publicly acknowledge the generosity of the Asian Pacific Internal Revenue Employees (ASPIRE) members in Washington, DC for donating school supplies and clothing (used and new) for the mudslide victims. So far, I collected and shipped three large boxes of school supplies and clothing through FOREX. Furthermore, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the ASPIRE members who donated cash through “Feed the Hungry” a 501 C (3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code.
A used clothing, a box of pencils, and a box of crayons means so much to a child whose family lost everything. Again, thank you for remembering the mudslide victims of my neighboring town in Leyte, Philippines.
Sincerely,
Eleonor C. Lindner
